Parris Becomes a US Open Triple Crown Winner

Parris made US Open history, triple crowning in her first time competing at the Minto US Open Pickleball Championships. Parris left it all on the court, medaling in the four events she competed in.

Singles was an awe-inspiring feat, defeating three opponents before heading on to the medal matches. Humid conditions made the game play that more difficult; in a tight battle until the end with three games played against opponent Judit Castillo Gargallo, Parris was crowned victorious after saving several match points.

Partnered up with Beth Bellamy for Women Pro Split Age, Parris and Beth came up just short of the gold in an impressive three game match. Beth and Parris were awarded a silver medal.

Parris partnered up with Simone Jardim again for another successful run in Women's Pro Doubles. This duo continues on a winning streak, allowing Parris to obtain another medal.

Finally, Parris competed alongside Hunter Johnson in Pro Mixed Doubles, battling it out along 30 other teams. Playing out the bracket, Hunter and Parris garnered four wins before competing in the gold medal match. A three set match was played against Simone Jardim and Kyle Yates. Hunter and Parris came out triumphant 11-9 in the third.

Overall, Parris had an extremely successful week competing at the US Open; the future is bright as she continues to make history in the pickleball world.
