One day out of the blue, when Parris was five years old, she asked her parents for a tennis racket.
​
Surprised at the request, her parents wondered where they could even purchase tennis equipment since they knew nothing of the sport. Not long after, the journey began, one training session after another, revealing a talent and passion for the game that triggered more hours on the court to develop her gift.
​
At age eight, her father took her to the renowned Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida, where a new level of play was discovered that activated a desire from within to compete with the best in the world.

From tennis prodigy to championship-winning pickleball professional, every chapter has been built on passion, perseverance, and purpose.
Early Success
Reached the #1 USTA regional and national rankings in the 10s and 12s divisions, later competing in the 14s, 16s, and 18s while still only 13 years old.
Professional Tennis
Turned professional at just 14, competing on the ITF Tour across the United States and internationally, earning over 85 career tennis titles.
Entrepreneurial Journey
Founded Waisted, USA, launching a contemporary sportswear and streetwear brand while balancing a professional athletic career.
Pickleball Career
Transitioned to pickleball and quickly became one of the sport's top athletes, winning 43+ APP & PPA medals, 2 MLP Championships, and the 2023 US Open Triple Crown.
